The  volcano roads are an adventure discovered itinerant as much for
families than for individuals. While some are measuring themself with the natural
obstacles of these splendid small area of Central America by foot or by VTT through
 different courses, others will get pleasure by discovering the
culture of this soft country, while crossing Coloniales cities, local
markets, museums and churches. The local arts and crafts as well as others
surprises will belong to this adventure and each day  everything will be
possible for you according to your desire; the 3 circuits, the walk by foot or by  VTT or the cultural trotts will be at your  choice and disposal. During the evening time  everyone will get together
 in a relaxed environment, favourable for story telling and 
exchanges of adventures and talking about the people we have met during the day.

With the cooperation of the Ministry of Tourism in Nicaragua (INTUR), "Route des Volcans" (RDV) is a combination of ecology, sports and culture.

3 circuits are organized simultaneously for the pleasure of each and everyone. They are open to mountain bikers (MB), hikers and trailers.

RDV is the opportunity to open oneself to a new country : it is based on a fruitful exchange with people. Adventure or discovery tour, the choice is yours.

You'll be guided and advised by a team composed of:

- Eric Barone, Founder and Managing Director. Eric ,who speaks Spanish, has traveled a lot and has become a specialist of Nicaragua. He'll guide you and will show you the various aspects of Nicaragua in his own way. You'll enjoy the company of this nature lover.

- Marc Rebuttini, who speaks English and Spanish is Eric's partner in Nicaragua. Marco is a professional photographer, he worked with Nicolas Hulot (a French TV star specialised in nature and ecology). He likes people, is happy managing groups. You'll have a lot of fun with him;

- Alain Creuzot, former assistant of Haroun Tazieff and the Kraffts, is a well-known volcanologist. He has been living in Nicaragua for over 35 years and its numerous volcanoes hold no secret for him.

This coming year, RDV offers a 10 day program meant for hikers, trailers and/or mountain bikers. This program also includes one full day canoeing on Nicaragua Lake around the Isletas... The mentioned distances below are maximum, they can be reduced.  Everything will be organized according to your wishes. Each person will be able to discover the country at his own pace.

At the end of the day, the participants of the 3 hereabove will meet and share their experience.
